this has happened to me a few times, but not since the start of the summer
i will be doing something, like playing volleyball or sledding or walking downstairs or acquiring my books, and all of the sudden my heart rate will triple. i have an general heart rate of like 60-80 beats, more towars 60, and it would jump to 180. i would feel it if i was wearing a heavy jacket via the jacket. sometimes, not every time, i would feel a little dizzy. these episodes last for 5-15 minutes. i went to a cardiatric hospital and they want t recording of an episode. but i havent had one for 3 months. they have no idea what this is. any idea what this is? my uncle may have the same thing i have, so maybe its genetic. |

If it worries you deary ... observe the doctor so they can do the tests or whatever it was they were monitoring.
It's a average tendency for us humans to not confer a professional when it comes to our health ... so while you're young ... obtain yourself acquainted with your GP and obtain used to seeing the doctor when you have real worries for your well-being. From what I know (studying nursing) ... common heart rate for a human is 60-100 bpm (beats per minute) ... and that's when your heart is rested ... not coming from exercise or doing anything that will make your heart race. It's common for your heart rate to spike up during or straight after you've done some activity ... but to how high - I wouldn't know. But as I said, I've only been told to take someone's heart rate/pulse when at rest ... because the reading would be more accurate if to notice any irregularity. But you know ... it's wonderful to go to the doctor every once in a while and check your essential signs and obtain your blood pressure and blood tested etc. Cheers |
