    Is it possible that the leackage lacerated my spleen.?

    My pancreatitis was NOT CANCER

    I found out after the surgery that My Whipple operation was performed in a Non specialised Hospital by a non specialised team.I am in a complaint regimen an have done all the important stages throught the NHS. No I am invited for a meeting with the trust and surgeon I could do with some advice for this meeting

    i suggest you approach a solicitor prior to your meeting with the nhs.

    They will try for an apologie to sort things out, and keep things quiet.see a solicitor ask for a copy of your notes and take someone with you as a witness as to what was said. take a friend not a family relative because if it goes to court their proof connot be submitted.

    Having a whipple is bad ample in itself.

    Don't go to this meeting alone. Have someone you trust there to witness what is said. If possible record the conversation.

    get any promises re: further medical care etc in writing.

    I don't know what NHS is, but don't agree to settle unless you're sure your best interest is taken care of. Think about any decision you make a while, and don't let them decide for you.
