shouldn't make any difference whatsoever - assuming you ate your lunch and didn't inhale it?! This is a joke - don't worry - it would be fine.

It makes no difference at all if you eat just before a chest x ray so dont worry.

Unless you aspirated a couple of peas or part of your Chinese, it will not influence your chest x-ray whatsoever!
The only thing it will express is a full gastric cavity and movement into the large intestine-no worries!! |

No worries! There are no dietary restrictions prior to having a chest x-ray.
"How should I prepare for the procedure? A chest x-ray requires no special preparation." http://www.radiologyinfo.org/en/info.cfm?pg=chestrad&bhcp=1 "Patient Preparation: No preparation is important before getting a chest X-ray, other than expelling metal objects such as necklaces and other metallic objects. etc." http://www.ptca.org/imaging/chest_xray.html |

The only reason they might say you shouldn't eat is because having a full stomach might obscure what they are trying to see. This would apply if they were looking at your stomach or any of the organs, bones etc behind it. As your lungs are higher up and in front of your stomach, I doubt it'll make any difference to your x-ray.
