ok so ive just taken 4spoons of andrews salts, as a laxative, im a long term laxative abuser, ive always used senna, never tried A salts, but i just read that due to them being an osmotic laxative theyll take up to 2 days to work????? surely not? after 4 spoons, not the recommended 2??? anybody used them in this technique and how long did they take to "work" ?
Thanks. i appreciate the advice on cutting down laxatives but i suffer from an consuming disorder and ive abused laxatives for years, daily. I already believe i have kidney damage. I was mainly concerned to switch to osmotic laxatives instead of stimulant laxatives, to try and alleviate even more damage. I panicked and took senna, so if anybody has anymore input id appreciate it, ty. |

Well I am not certainly about the time but I do not think to much salt is a wonderful thing on one time. Drink allot of water via the day which will also aid your kidneys to work the salt out.

WHy dont you just obtain your body going properly instead of doing crap like this. I suggest you look into gluten intolerance if your consitpated. If your just messed up perhaps nothing will aid you.

too much laxitive use will make your bowl sluggish and dependant on a larger dose of the drug and as tne bowel becomes lazier it becomes inefficent at expelling t5oxins and at absorbing nutrients. also you become more likely to become a victom of bowel cancer. the best technique to avoid this is to gradualy alleviate your dose and re-train the bowel. this is to eat a fibre rich diet with lots of fresh fruit and vegitables and many of water (most constipation is caused by low grade dehydration) and to pick a convieniant time to go to the bathroom nd stay there (within reason)untill something happens (do not strain as this may make it harder to deffocate due to closing the track around the stool peristalsis happens of its own impart you forsing it does no wonderful and may slow the prosses)sit up straigh and have a step to place your feet on as the body is designed to have the legs in a squatting position when shtin
also too much andrews is not wonderful for your liver or kidneys |
