Some people use things like ST. JOHNS WART. The very best solution is to contact your MD. You really need to be evaluated for this before you adjust or alteration your meds. This is nothing to fool with. Good Luck to you.

Lithium is natural; it's the third element on the Periodic Table of Elements.

Yup. Socrates: 'gymnastics toughens the mind'.

I've both had a period of anxiety. About 6 months. But I wasn't exercsing during that time. It's now 3 years since and I *never* obtain it now....... Oh, one other remedy- stomach pills. You know, bucospan [it's the best], something to stop it cramping [if it does that], and nice foods [no curries etc.]

yes! supplement with flax seeds oil or omega 3's..you need more healthy (essential fatty acids) fat in your diet..without wonderful fat your brain doesn't function properly and you become 'bi polar"

No, why not ask your doctor to put you on something else if it bothers you. People have been taking it with an anti-depressant for decades.

Have you tried lithium orotate? It's a supplement and by going that route the dosage you take is much smaller than they give by prescription.

exercise can aid a lot.. especially when you're in a depressed stage.. it produces neurotransmitters in your brain that it lacks when depressed.. i'm not saying it's a fix all.. but it will help.. and hey it's just healthy to commence with..

    hope this helps.

There are so a lot chooses to look at.

I was thinking that you should also check into something called Border Line Personality Disorder. A book that my customers say they like is called Stop Walking on Egg Shells By Paul Mason.

I like the nutritional support offered via Blue Green Algae. It is full off all the Omegas, Essential Fatty Acids, Nucleic Acids, etc.... that is required for optimal health and balance.

The kind of work that I offer my customers is called Yuen Energetics, you can also look into that to observe if it interests you.

There is also ANDY BEHRMAN (A.K.A. ELECTROBOY)? at http://www.electroboy.com. He has been via it all and has a web site, book, and news letter you might find supportive.

Good Luck and May You Have an Infinitely Lucky Life!!!!!!!!!

Natural remedies need will power too. You can not expect a miracle cure cause there is no such thing.

Someone mention fatty oils (linseed, oily fish), i go together with that, it can make the world of difference.

Checking with your dr. is good. But a lot of them are anti natural/herbal remedies. NADH with St. Jon's Wart (which is a natural MAO inhibitor). Rhodiola Rosea (an herbal serotonin booster). SAMe (important in synthesizing brain chemicals). There are a lot remedies....Linda Page put out a wonderful book called "Healthy Healing". One book of a lot that is very informative.
