Man, he shattered it! Can expect a long recovery, because he broke the 2 weight-bearing bones in the leg...prob. in hospital for a few days (Max), cast for 12 weeks, crutches prob. just 6 weeks, until he gets a walker...partially healed by than!
No, as a guy, I do not find another guy hot, even if he is hurt. And no, a girl on crutches isnt hot just b/c of the crutches, she has to be hot to commence with! |

My brother broke his leg in tons of places last year, and he was in the hospital one night, but we only got him in at 9 pm (we were skiing and had to drive him to Boston for better medical facilities) and then was in a cast to his hip for three months, then a walking cast for another three. He was on crutches for 4 and a half months, and then walked straight on the walking cast.

So, he broke his lower leg and upper leg? The tibia and fibula are the two bones in the lower leg, and the femur is the thigh bone. My sister broke her lower leg when she was younger, and I bear in mind her being in a cast all summer (she broke her leg begining of summer vacation) so that's about 3 months. But that is just for the cast. He also then will have a walking boot and then would be going via A LOT of physical theraphy. As for the guys looking hot with crutches, think of it this way, you obtain to play nurse for him!

Wow...nasty break.
It depends on various things...I would bet they did surgery on your boyfriend to put some fixating screws and plates in to stabilize the bone. That might contribute on some recovery time. Either way, he is going to need at least five months of physical therapy to regain the strength and mobility he's going to lose by not being able to move his leg for so long. I'd talk to his orthopedist. P.S. - If a guy is hot, it doesn't matter if he's on crutches! |
