You're having a panic attack caused by anxiety. Anxiety is caused by stress. In your case, your doctor says it's psychological, meaning he can't find anything physically wrong, then the problem is in your head, not that it makes it less real. Unless you deal with the issues that is causing the stress, it will still be there, therefore, you need to find the reasons. Try a psychologist - they're more humane. Also, when you have the attack, try breathing very deeply and slowly, in and out until the anxiety goes away.
It helps me because I have to force myself to breathe. I have panic attacks, not frequently, but because I'm coming around menopause. This is part of the package. |

Yes I know exactly what you're talking about. It scared the heck out of me the first few periods it happened. Even went to the doctor. It is anxiety which makes it psychological. The bad stomach goes together with it and usually comes first. You could try some anti-anxiety meds.

acid reflux can give you something like that. I have heart trouble and acid reflux, I have been to the ER 3 times, once with heart attack, twice with acid reflux. Talk to your Dr about Endoscopy..

you are perhaps feeling panic and anxiety from your stomach pain and the fear is making your body produce adrenalin which is causing your heart to beat rapid and making it difficult for you to sleep. If you don't trust your doctor, go to a dissimilar one just to put your mind at ease that you're not dying. I think the best thing is to observe a dissimilar doctor. One who will aid you feel better. Best wishes, dear!

Ok....first off, when we do not get ample rest, and when we are also under stress and you sound like you have barrels of it, we obtain sick. Butterflies in the chest and headaches, and dizziness are all part of sleep deprivation. Anxiety or worry can cause a quick heart rate, as can anxiety attacks or panic attacks. When we are worried our stomachs crank out many more stomach acid and we may feel ill to our stomachs when that happens.
It might be psychological, but the effects are physical and real. Get a new doctor. Then try the following: Start getting some magnesium and potassium into your bloodstream. Good Vitamin B complex vitamin tablets will aid along with exercise. Eat a diet rich in dark, green leafy veggies and obtain some fresh fruit into your diet, bananas for example are great. Exercise by walking. Just a wonderful brisk walk for at least an hour each day, anytime you could fit it in. If you do not survive in a harmless neighborhood, you could do laps at a local YMCA, or go to a mall and do laps around the mall for an hour. You may be having panic or anxiety attacks, they are common, can happen to anybody at anytime, even when you're not feeling nervous about anything in particular. They can cause a butterfly effect in the chest and raise your heart rate. The alteration in diet will aid greatly with this, and the vitamins will too. Exercise takes your mind off your problems and helps tire your body out in a healthy technique so that you could rest. Good luck to you. |
