well i'm not sexually active, and yesterday i found this pimple-like thing on the right side of my private area haha and the previous day i hadn't used toilet paper to cover the toilet and now i'm scared i have genital warts! btw i go to a pretty wealthy school, so it's clean and everything..but is it possible to obtain genital warts from a bathroom toilet??? AH I'M SO SCARED! i mean, the pimple is half gone today (the top part popped and now is just a scab, but i'm still scared!) any help??? thanks guys!!
btw i'm 15 and sorry i knwo i sound really prude with my "private areas" and all but just aid me pleaseee :] oh and i have a sore throat today!! :[ oh and lastly, the bump didn't hurt at all when i touched it. and i don't htink it was all that itchy either...any idea what it could've been?? |

Yes, but it's unusual. It doesn't really matter if you go to a wealthy school or not as STDs have no social etiquette regarding the class system.
It's perhaps just nothing. An open sore could be one of two things, I'm thinking: But doubtful it's either one. If it's of the two, it could be herpes, but I don't think you mentioned other symptoms that you'd have for it to be that. If it goes away and doesn't spead, could have been a bug bite or something. If it's there more than a week, observe a doctor. |

I think you're overreacting slightly, but there is a slight likelihood of STDs being contracted via a toilet seat. Though, it's very unlikely that the little thingy (let's call it an abscess for right now) you got was STD related.
