I don't think it's from China but there is a product in America called "Mederma" (I think) that's made from onion peels mostly and should aid you. It's a little pricey though.

Wheatgerm oil is really wonderful for scars. I had 8 stitches in the palm of my hand near my pinky and all you could see is a faint line.

    Good luck!

Does it need to be a Chinese remedy?

Lavender oil works wonders on scars, even very old scars. You need to use proper vital oil (not fragrence oils) so look for Lavandula angustifolia and you could apply it directly to the area, no need to dilute.

Vitamin E oil will also help.

I bear in mind using a product from China once, somewhat same reason (scar, not from stitches), I used it as prescribed, didn't work... then I tried using it more (twice as long, or twice as much I can't recall) and the scar was gone.

Sorry I know it's a cloudy answer to say the least, but I'm telling you I used a China product, sort of a balm in a short cylindrical container, and it worked.
