It didn't so much hurt as that I just couldn't do it! Couldn't bring myself to poke something in my eye

First time and every other time after that. I've got dry eyes and not compatible with contacts which is a pain as I hate wearing glasses at times.

It was really weird the first time, but then I got used to them pretty quickly. They really hurt if you have the soft ones inside-out or if they have a tear in them. They also hurt if you obtain a piece of hair or an eyelash in them and then you put them in.

just reading other peoples answers, and i was completely different. it didnt hurt me at all but u will find a almighty difference if u are changing from glasses to contacts. it was a little akward for a day but after that your eye gets use to them however i did experience headaches so i have gone back to glasses.
saying this though everyone is different, u might put them in and they might feel perfectly natural to u. just try first though and observe if it works out. my optition give me a week to observe if i wanted them first before paying. |

A friend of mine wears contacts. She said they hurt when she first put them in but, mentioned that her ophthalmologist said it's common and one must enable some time (1 to 2 weeks) for them to adjust to one's eyes. I hope I've been helpful. Thanks for the 2 points.

Yes but your eyes obtain used to them. Ask your optometrist if you could try Night and Day. They are really soft and designed to be kept in for 30 days and nights. I use them and have very few troubles except for occasional dry eyes which can be dealt with by saline drops.

lol..i to cosidered you were talking about something else,, anyway.. the very first time you put them in it will feel a lil' strange, but i got used to mine VERY quickly.. and never regretted it for one day...i hate to wear my glasses so contacts was the best option.i have been wearing contatcs since i was about 18... am 39 now...
like a few other comments say... they will feel dissimilar for everyone.. mine are the soft ones.. but please make certainly you clean and look after them... as your eyes are very important..and if you neglect your lenses you could end up with a nasty eye infection... hope this helps..:-D Lisa oxoxo |
