If you suspect you have asthma (and it sounds like a possibility), it's time to make an appointment to observe a doctor. They can prescribe apposite medication to treat the problem.

    Good luck!

You should observe your doctor and explain this all to him/her. They can do some testing and decide best how to treat you. If you family won't listen to you, observe the school nurse and observe if she can aid you.

You may have exercise induced asthma. you should observe your doctor, he can aid you. some people with this type of asthma are prescribed an inhaler and use it before exercise. you should ask the smokers in your house to smoke outside. Second hand smoke is bad for anyone. Good Luck.

Well it sounds very much to me like it's asthma. You described the symptoms about exactly. The fact that you mother smokes also is suggestive of it as well, as children laid bare to 2nd hand smoke are more likely to develop asthma. Have your parents to take you to the doctor if you're worried about it. Exercise indused asthma is a very average condition you would be okay, I promise ;-)

yes i believe you do have asthma. tightened lungs is usually the first symptoms. you should go observe a doctor before it gets severe. It will obtain worst if you do not obtain treatment, so try to avoid the smoke and exercising too much. if your chest tighten, don't sprint anymore. when your mother smokes, open a window and turn on a fan. your life is in danger, whether or not your family says it. please observe a doctor....just the tightening of the lungs can lead to something worse.

for when you do not have any medication and feel tight, go into your bathroom and turn your shower or bath water very hot to obtain steam. steam will aid clear your lungs. also, cup your hands around your mouth so your breathing will not obtain so rapid you panic. breathe deep breaths. the the bulk important thing you should do is not panic. it will make the feeling worse.

again, please go observe a doctor. it's the only technique to clear this.

good luck, i hope you get via this, and finally, i hope this helps you.

You could have exercise induced asthma. Being around smokers and having asthma sprint in the family are also indications that is is possible. Check with your doctor and have them look into it.

If you do have it, what they will do is prescribe you with a rescue inhaler (Albuterol) that you will take when you feel like you can't breathe. This inhaler will aid relax the muscles around your airways so you could breathe easier.

Some home remedies are strong black coffee- the caffeine helps to open your airways.
