Quite possibly, yes. See a doctor and obtain it checked out before you make any conclusions.

It definately sounds like you have developed an allergy. Don't eat any more fruit that causes this reaction until you observe your doctor. He will perhaps send you for allergy testing. Also if you have these allergies your baby may have some too. Good luck, you'll obtain it all sorted out.

It could very well be. Pregnancy can cause all kinds of things happen in your body. You can just about expect anything to happen during this time including allergies or intolerances. Remember if you're allergic each reaction can obtain worse overtime. So I suggest staying clear of apples and eat a dissimilar fruit.

Yes, it sounds like this is an allergic reaction. It is called oral allergy syndrome. It causes people to have itchy tingly mouths after consuming certain fruits. Usually if the fruit is cooked, it no longer causes an allergic reaction. It is usually associated to having other allergies to pollen. Unfortunately, pregnancy often causes people to develop new allergies. Here are some websites that have some info on oral allergy syndrome.

I would try consuming the fruit cooked (like a baked apple) and observe if the reaction still occurs.

It is called oral allergy syndrome. You only have this problem with raw fruit, right? It is associated to pollen allergies. I used to have it too. I could not eat almost all raw fruits and vegetables. Even getting the juice on my hands would make them break out in a rash. After being on allergy desensitation shots for pollen allergies for five years, my allergy to raw fruits and vegetables went away! Now I can even eat salad and watermelon.
