It's just a part of the food. Vegetables have fat in them, too. Ever heard of corn oil?
Additional: Guess what, lv_consultant and reddhotz2000? Olives and avocados are two fruits which contain many of fat. And yes, they are fruits. |

Fruits are healthy low calorie dense foods that contain a good deal of vitamins and fiber.
Fruits don't make you fat, consuming more calories than your body burns makes you fat. |

No there isn't, and IF there is, it's negligible. Yahoo 'fats in fruits' and you will have 7.5 MILLION sites that say the same thing.

Before man existed there were plants that contain fat. Avocados are 60% fat giving it a buttery taste. See site below and learn how bad fats can kill you and wonderful fats aid make you thin.
Fat lubricates the brain, joints, skin and arteries like the oil in a car. It is a better source of energy for bodybuilders who burn loads of calories. The book by 2 MDs, You the Owners Manual says that the fat in avocado is the best fat for lubrication and anti-inflammatory. |
