I really don't know that answer, but if you have any doubt that someone is about to die, I would call 911. I hope all is okay.

I know that a few months before they usually sleep a LOT. I mean 12 -15 hours a day. They stop consuming some people beginning hallucinating, talking to people or things that aren't there or picking things out of the air. 1/2 hor to minutes before they die they commence what is called "fish out of water" breathing which is just what it sounds like. I lost my husband of 7 years to cancer at the age of 27. I hope all is well. Just know that this is no technique for him/her to survive and hopefully a better place is waiting.

I just spent some time with a friend that had cancer. She was having a difficult time getting around then as time passed she lost the capability to obtain around at all. Finally ended up not being able to obtain out of bed....very labored breathing. One week later she passed away. Cancer is such a terrible disease.
