If you're allergic and you wear fake earrings, do your ears instantly swell up or does it take time?

Sometimes you may have a reaction and sometimes you may not and if that is the case ask a doctor! Better harmless than sorry!!!

I'm not certainly exactly what you mean by fake jewelry but I know when I was younger I would wear the cheap jewelry all the time and I would have reactions to the metal that was used so I was no longer able to wear them. For me the biggest problem was rings. Where the ring was my skin would turn a greenish color and if I didn't take it off soon after the alteration in skin color the skin would normally become red and irritated after a while, I don't think I ever really swelled, though I'm certainly other people respond differently when they have an allergic reaction.

If you're allergic to the metal, the skin that is in contact with the metal may turn red or greenish or blackish, and it may obtain itchy. Depending on your body, the reaction could be noticeable within minutes or hours.
I haven't known anybody whose ears swelled up from an allergic reaction to fake earrings, although I imagine it could happen if they become infected. |

When your skin turns a dissimilar color due to your body chemistry. Your skin starts to itch alot and dry out. You'll beginning to develop some kind of sist behind your ear like a bump or one monstrous pimple like mole on your ear lobe. To some people it would be immediately, to others it would be with time. But you will develope something if you're allergic to fake jewelry, I myself too am allergic to phoney jewelry.
It's NOT worth it!!! |
