Soy milk is great, so is rice milk. You can also obtain him some organge juice with added calcium, to supplement what he won't obtain from milk.

My son had a bad reaction to cows milk items too. There's this formula called Alimentum that worked wonders for him. It's somehow 'predigested' and non-dairy or something. It's about $25 a can, but it's completely worth it. WIC even covers it.

Soy milk doesn't taste like real milk but you obtain used to it. Try the unsweetened type, its got less sugar in, which is always better for your teeth and your body.

Soy milk is yummy! Goats milk sometimes works for those with a cow milk allergy, but it's a little twangy! Rice milk is another wonderful alternative, and they also make rice dream ice cream. My sister had a milk allergy when she was young. Also, look for other names milk is under such as whey. It's in bread, pastries, lots of things. When using recipes, remove milk and use water or soy milk, etc. Happy hunting.

I strongly suggest SILK. It tastes amazing and you obtain the advantages of cows milk, without the allergy complications.

soy or rice milk. Goat milk tastes horrible and soy comes in chocolate and vanilla flavors, the vanilla is quite wonderful on cereal. Some are even enhanced with green tea!

Soy milk and rice milk are both wonderful substitutes, depending on your son's endurance for several foods. Some doctors don't advocate soy milk for very young children because it has a phyto (plant) estrogen, which can theoretically alter development. Check with your son's doctor. That's the only technique to be sure.

Soy milk.(My mom cant drink regular milk because it messes up her immune system) You cant even tell that from actual cow's milk, there really isn't a difference in taste or anything. And it's also wonderful for your immune system. And if you scheme on getting Soy milk, obtain Silk, thats the kind that my mom gets, and I even drink it. They even make it in chocolate and strawberry, yum!
