You might urinate out a bit of sugar; however, when they're doing a glucose endurance test, they'll also be doing a urine test each time they draw blood, so if the sugar is there, they'll find it. If you're "spilling" sugar before they draw any blood, you'll be assumed to be diabetic immediately, as any sugar in the urine is abnormal.

    Good luck!

    Nothing.

Water doesn't influence your blood glucose level.

    Eating food does.

This should not have any significant effect on your blood sugar test. How ever if's possible to remain fasting for your test do so

Dispite what is said here I was told that when my sugar is high to drink some water and go for a walk to bring my sugar level down. Better to find out sooner if you have diabetes. It's progressive and you want to obtain it under control asap. Your life depends on it.

There would be a considerable increase in your blood sugar. If you're going to take the FBS, then it's not recommended to take anything before the test.

if you have any troubles with them drawing blood it will make it easier for them to be able to if you don't drink much water anyway
