First try and relax. It is quite normal to be stressed before testing. You are certainly not alone.

    Good luck.

    Peace.

Put the books away. Go out with your buds or by yourself and have some fun. You need to distract and give your mind a needed rest and vacation.

There is such a thing as overstudying. If you "get" all of the material, you should now get a lot of rest and let your brain take over. It doesn't hurt to try some memory association tricks (like H.O.M.E.S = the great lakes), write them on an index card and carry them with you for red lights, waiting rooms etc. - just as a refresher.

I would say, if your body is telling you to stop then do what it says, it always knows best.

In other words, have a day off, afterall you should know it very well by now.

    Good luck, Ant...

Understand that if you WEREN'T nervous, you will be in a world of hurt. But being overly nervous is no good at all. If you have put the time in studying the material (and it sounds like you have), you know what is going to be on the test. Not every single thing, but the bulk of what's there. And that in itself would be enough to pass.

There's only one thing you have to be careful of. On test day, your brain will have to be working effectively to recall what you have studied. If it's working under highly nervous conditions, the brain won't function as effectively as if you were relaxed. You don't want to be perfectly relaxed because of the risk of falling asleep. But you could't be perfectly stressed out. So aim for somewhere in between and you'll be fine. Probably better than you ever imagined.

Oh yeah, write us back when you ace the tests and let us know.

Take consolation in that you will NOT get mentally sick. At least not with any long-term thing. So relax. It's GREAT you know the material. Now all you need to do is review. The "index card" flash card thing is a good idea. Review the night before the test AND the morning of (making sure you review the morning of the test is a secret I rarely share). Now you've GOT to make sure you don't mess with yourself physically or you will feel like crap. Make sure you get sufficient sleep. Get some air. Watch some TV or listen to your iPod. And EAT HEALTHY. Get this regimen down pat, for you're going to have a LOT of tests in your life, so get used to it! Are you religious? Then a prayer or two can't hurt, either!

just chill out, dont try too hard, if you know your material, then all you could do is your best, put your best foot forward, ask God to give you strength, then take your tests. good luck to ya
