I would advocate you go to bed at about 8:30 or 9:30, you need a minimum of 8 hours of sleep. Less and you can feel really, really, sleepy the next day. Take your medicines about 20 minutes before you go to bed. Make certainly you take them on an empty stomach. If you eat a almighty meal and then take them they do not work very wonderful at all. So take them no sooner than 1 to 2 hours after you have eaten dinner. If you obtain the full 8 hours and still feel groggy and sleepy the next day and have a difficult time staying awake and concentrating then call your doctor. I take Ambien and it works amazing for me. I tried Lunesta and it made me feel like crap the next day. I was so sleepy!! Ambien works best for me. So you need to observe how you react to the medication. When you go to bed just close your eyes and relax, think happy relaxing ideas and not about things that may stress you out. That will contribute to you going to sleep faster and easier with your Ambien. Like I said if you feel groggy and sleepy the next day you may need to switch. Try it for a week and observe how it goes then if you still feel bad you could call your doctor. The key is to obtain 8 to 9 hours of sleep each night you take the Ambien. Good luck. =)
