Walking. It takes more energy unless your biking uphill.

Biking will burn more calorie/hour but you have to keep pedaling hard..no coasting. Walking is amazing also but you have to keep up the pace as well a stopwatch/lap counter is a handy tool here..most cell phones have them built in these days. It will aid you to keep track of your intensity. With biking, it's too easy to drop the intensity as you obtain tired. But try to hit 20MPH and maintain that for 20 to 30 minutes.

Biking in my viewpoint - you could really obtain your heart rate up without any impact to your joints or internal organs. It's also a nice mixture of sprints, hills, and coasting when you're tired.

I used to bike many and would set myself a time target for a proscribed route - I was never in better shape in my life.

Walking and power walking. Low intensity workouts will shed the pounds and will not make you hungry. Also, since you will not be gaining muscle, you won't gain weight or mass and you could keep your low calory diet.

    Good luck
