Need to increase my flexibility and am wondering if I should hold a stretch for a really long time. If I fell asleep stretching would that mean that I will be injured or pull a muscle when I wake?

    Thank you very much.

u might want to stay awake but i think the longer u hold it the looser ur muscles would be and it will not injure u.

a wonderful stretch lasts at least 20 secs. so 15-60 is ok, not 15-60 minutes. Although you could stretch for that long. ( entire body)If you know anything about yoga, those sessions can last up to 2 hours or more so i dont recomend one stretch for 15 minutes
